This cassette is a live studio recording of both artists working together with no overdubs. They (Miscarriage of Justice and Slow Murder) both worked together for live performances in the UK earlier in the year. A rehearsal tape as Slow Murder for this tour was also released by Clydach Electronics earlier in the year and that is worth looking for. Both the tape and cover for this release are green.

I will make you feel, like you made her feel – this sample repeats itself and is cut into by blasts of noise with a vocal screaming through it, the backing noise is somewhere between juddering machine repetition and digital assault with sharp feedback with direct screaming blasting out of it. The noise explosions and the sample loop make an impressive contrast as the shouting is supremely focussed with intent – ‘I will find you and fucking kill you.’ The vocal is then buried as if drowning in pulsating static. Buzzing waves of distortion wash further over the sample murder in progress, this begins to drag, friction judders over the sound. These elements again play off each other with the distortion eventually being all that is left over for a time. The noise suddenly morphs into shouting which brings the tape to an end.

I'd love to discover something released this year that tops this.
